Privates Stephen Machcinski & James Dickman Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The student must be an emergency services technology major or enrolled in the Firefighter I certificate course and who demonstrates the potential to make a contribution as a first responder. The recipient must complete 12 hours at Owens or be enrolled in the Firefighter I certificate course . An essay highlighting educational and career goals, describing the desire to become a firefighter and how a scholarship would help in achieving these goals is required. The recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring Semesters at Owens Community College or be enrolled in the Firefighter I and II Certificate courses and shall have at least a 2.5 CGPA. The scholarship is renewable if the recipient applies and maintains a 2.5 or better CGPA.
