G.S.W. Manufacturing, Inc. STEM Endowed Scholarship
GSW Manufacturing, Inc. manufactures wire harnesses and other assemblies for the automotive industry in Findlay, Ohio. GSW is proud of its learning culture and wishes to encourage continuous learning. Applicant must be enrolled in the School of STEM Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and have a minimum 2.5 CGPA. Must be a resident of Hancock County or adjacent county to Hancock county with preference given to a Hancock county resident.
Preference given to employee of GSW Manufacturing or child/ward of GSW employee. Preference given to applicants who demonstrate financial need through the appropriate forms as administered and recommended by the Owens Financial Aid Office. Scholarship is renewable if criteria continues to be met and the recipient maintains a 2.0 or better CGPA.
**Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE): families who have income above the Federal Poverty Level, but not high enough to afford a basic household budget that includes housing, child care, food, transportation, and health care. ALICE households live in every county in Ohio – urban, suburban, and rural – and they include women and men, young and old.
